Coolant magnetic separator have been designed and developed to clean the coolant liquid of very fine ferrous particles which can't be removed by conventional filters. Its use assures uninterrupted flow of pure coolant liquid which is a must for any precision grinding operation. Incorporation of coolant magnetic separator on grinding machine improves performance of the machine with better surface finish of the job which is otherwise not possible.
Operation:
Used coolant from the grinding machine is first passed through the filter to remove course sediments ) and then discharged into the coolant magnetic separator inlet. The coolant drum which houses permanent magnets. Rotates at a very slow speed and in direction opposite to the liquid flow.
Fine ferrous particles get attracted to the strong magnetic poles of the separator drum. One brass scrapper is provided at the other end of the machine to scrape the ferrous particles form the magnetic poles and collect the same in a special boxprovided with the machine.
Application:
Use of coolant Magnetic Separator reduces Contamination of coolant liquid which in turn enhances its life. The coolant liquid thus can be used for double the normal time. This reduces the operational cost of the grinding machine.
Rotation to the machine is provided by one low speed geared motor of standard make operating on 440 volts 3 phase A.C.supply system and through a set of gears. A new feature has been added to our drum design by providing continuous magnetic polarity across the circumference of the magnetic drum.
Function: Utilize powerful plate magnets to remove contaminants from free-flowing materials in enclosed flow lines, large pieces of tramp iron as well as ferrous fragments from gravity-flow materials before they reach storage bins or processing equipment.Application: They can be mounted in spouting lines or on the processing machines. The hump shape directs the product flow into the magnetic field.

General Description of Magnetic Bar:
SWMAG Magnetic Bars provide an effective means removing ferrous chips and metal particles from loosely packed, free flowing materials. They are usually constructed of 304 stainless steel tubes, or 316 stainless steel tubes for special domains filled with Ceramic or Rare Earth Magnet. Either round or square shape bars are available for customers' desiring for special applications.
Specification:Our standard bars is 25mm.(1 inch) in diameter and any length per customers' request up to 2500mm. Besides,we also take specitl orders,such as square shape Magnetic bars.
Maximum Working Temperature: Our ordinary temperature is 80•C,but if demand,we can offer you up to meet special appliance.
Magnet Strength: Per customers' requirements. The highest magnet strength can achieve 12,000GS (1.2T). Following is the relationship between diameter, magnetic strength and Maximum Operation Temperature for reference:

Neodymium, or Neo, is made up of Neodymium Iron and Boron and is moderate in price. With poor corrosion resistance this alloy is usually plated or coated (Examples: Nickel Plated, Epoxy Coated, Parylene Coated). Neodymium is offered in a range of operating temperatures depending on your application (80•C to 200•C). Premium Neodymium Alloys capable of operating above 120•C can become quite expensive. This permanent magnet material has many intellectual property rights associated with it and there are a limited number of licensed manufacturers in the world. Magnetic Bars containing high intensity rare earth neodymium iron boron magnets are housed within a 304 stainless steel vessel. Magnetic configuration ensures maximum exposure of contamination to the high intensity tubes without impeding liquid flow.
With its flange or quick release clamp top access design, the Trap is easy to be cleaned. Simply remove the top, lift out the magnet cage, wipe clean and reinstall.
Description of Drawer Magnet
1.The characters like Magnetic strength and Maximum Operating Temperature on the tube surface are the same as the magnetic bar.
SWMAG Drawer Magnets are ideal for removal of fine iron and paramagnetic contamination from a range of dry free flowing products such as sugar, grain, tea, etc. They are totally constructed in 304 stainless steels. Consisted of a row or most commonly rows of round magnetic tubes that are assembled into drawers.
The magnetic bars emit high magnetic field across the gaps between them . As material flows into the top of the housing, it is forced to cascade in a zig-zag pattern from row to row over the magnetic tubes, this ensures maximum tramp metal capture since the product comes in direct and repeated contact with a magnet as it travels through the housing.
Housings are available for both square chutes and round pipelines and are flanged to suit each customer¡¯s requirement for ease of installation.
General Description of Magnetic Grate:SWMAG Magnetic Grates are used in bins, chutes, drawers and hoppers. They are designed to remove ferrous metal and tramp iron from free-flowing materials such as plastics, foods, cosmetics, grains and minerals.
Standard magnetic grates feature 25mm. diameter round bars filled with either high grade Ceramic or Rare Earth Magnets, arrayed on 50mm.

How it Works?
The material is discharge on the belt by the feeder. The magnetic roll is enveloped by the conveyor. The para and ferro magnetic ingredients remains stuck to the belt whereas non magnetic ingredients passes freely at the end of the conveyor.
